72 percent of the vaccine-eligible population aged 12 and older and 64 percent of the total population have received vaccination protection in Austria. This was announced by Health Minister Wolfgang Mückstein (Greens) in a press release. One must work now further toward 75 and 80 per cent.

13,000 people in Austria got a first dose of the Covid vaccination on Friday, according to Mückstein. “The reports show us that in many places people have lined up to take advantage of the low-threshold and free vaccination offer,” the politician says. He again calls on there to get immunized: “Get your vaccine protection and thus also the easiest and most convenient form of 3G proof.”
